1949

College of Business Administration opens its doors

In the fall of 1949, the College of Business Administration opened its doors to a small group of business students in the historic Hawai‘i Hall building. The curriculum at that time was limited to accounting, economics and industrial relations.

1952

First class graduates

Just over 100 students made up the first graduating class from the College of Business. They participated in the University of Hawai‘i Commencement Ceremony held on June 18, 1952 at the Arthur L. Andrews Theatre.
